We are back from our SDA appointment and it was stressful. We went in to the office and sat down with the child psychologist. She started looking over our documents and the kids files. Everyone was talking very fast and arguing about something. We were just silent the entire time. They didn't give us any new information about the kids. There is no information about the father. They became available for adoption in 2007. That was pretty much it. She asked us how we knew about the kids. Then she asked us how many children we had and Alex showed her our photo album. The receptionist came back in to look also. They seemed to enjoy seeing the pictures of the kids and all of our family and friends. We should get our referrals tomorrow at 5. We won't leave for the kids region until Thursday morning - kind of a bummer because we were hoping to eat dinner with our friends the Quinteros who are adopting right now from the same orphanage. I wrote a more detailed post but its probably not a good idea for us to post it until we are home. I think it is pretty safe to post a picture of the kids now. Here they are - Tanya and Bogdan!!
Joni....they are so cute. This whole post made me nervous....but they did give yu the referral to go see them, right.... We just need to be praying praying praying all 5 of you home. Emry and Lauren have been talking about how excited they are to have a new friend.... It's so sweet. I love that they feel a part of it all...just a picture of the way Gods kingdom works.... Hoping this shapes the way they see the world.
